Santa Fe Dressage Association’s Year End Award Program
To be eligible for the SFDA Year End Awards (YEA) Program
• The Rider must be a SFDA member for the award year, having joined prior to Dressage at Santa Fe I and II.
• The horse/rider/level combination must enter and compete at one or both the SFDA shows (Dressage at Santa Fe I and II).
YEA Calculations
• All scores for YEA are tabulated using the highest score earned by each horse/rider/level combination throughout the show year at each level and in each division. The top three (3) scores will be averaged to determine placings. One (1) of those scores must be from the highest test of the level.
• A minimum average of 55% is required to earn an award.
YEA Policies
• NO NEED TO PREREGISTER OR NOMINATE!
• Riders may earn awards at two adjacent levels on the same horse.
• Riders may compete on more than one horse.
• A horse may be shown by up to two competitors.
• Champion may not be won more than twice by the same horse and rider combination at the same level except at Grand Prix
Awards
• Champion Awards will go to the top Junior, Young Rider, Adult Amateur and Open Rider at Intro through Grand Prix Levels.
